Spooky Haunted House

Busted out the tripod so i could get a good shot of this in the dark, the way it was meant to be seen, so you could see the warm glow of the candles.... Oooooooohhhhhh Spoooooooooky house!..lol.... This looks much better and spookier.... Not sure what to make for the setup next... Leave suggestions if you would, need ideas for new additions, like more ghosts, more pumpkins, bats maybe?... you decide and lemme know....

My Haunted House playset

Here is something i always did as a kid, which is make haunted houses and haunted house dioramas out of cardboard and various materials... The haunted house i found at Michaels art and craft store, and i modified it slightly and didnt put all the decals the way it was meant to be assembled outta the box... what i did instead was fit electric candles inside the house so its lit up at nite time, and i made all the outside pieces and the scenery outta my new favorite hobby, Sculpey...lol... the shit is awesome, and i suck at it, but its so much fun even when your stuff comes out like shit its cool...lol... i made all the lil pumpkins, the ghosts, the 2 black cats to the left.. the cat on the right is a spongy mini toy i got awhile ago, but its the right scale so i put it in there... and right next to that cat, zoom in and see if that brings back any memories..lol... when i was small they had a weekly horror movie shown on channel 11 under the title of Chiller Theater, and this claymation swamp, with this claymation hand that comes out of the bloody lookin mucky swamp, with this creeeeeepy sound and warbling "CHIIIIILLLLLLEEEERRRR!!", as the hand came up and went back down... and the creepy detail was the hand had 6 fingers!!... AAACCCCKKKK!... Horrifying!!!... to a little messed up 7 year old anyways, and i loved it and it gave me nightmares... lol... so i made that hand and lil swamp for my little house setup... This thing is gonna be like my christmas tree, i'm gonna keep it up tho, but decorate it and treat it like a christmas decoration, but for Halloween, and like all my Halloween decorations, it'll stay up year round...lol....

Jinx the Happy Cat!

Found this product the other nite while browsing around ToysRus the other nite, and this caught my eye for a few reasons.... One, Anne always calls Jinx HappyCat, and then when i looked at the box, down in the corner is a pic of a cat that looks uncannily like our Jinkers... So i had to get this, just for the box alone, and i set up the catnip plant too, so that wouldnt go to waste... So here is Jinkers getting a closer look at herself on the box...lol....

Boardgame pieces

Here is a sneak peek at a top secret project i'm workin on for fun, for myself, eventually wanna sell the concept down the road, but for now, i'm just havin so much fun makin these little pieces... The project i'm workin on is a tabletop boardgame concept i came up with one nite when i couldnt sleep and my brain just exploded in a brainstorm of cool ideas for these characters and a game idea... was so inspired i had to get up and stayed up all nite into the wee hours sketching out the characters, made a logo for the game, the game rules... everything was done in my head almost instantly, was the coolest thing..lol.. I eventually went to sleep at 7am that morning after i was satisfied getting all the ideas out on paper and on the computer... won't mention the name or the tagline for the game, cuz it's brilliant and i have to copyright it and stuff...lol.. but these are just the prototypes for the game pieces i made out of sculpey... I'm obsessed now with makin little nick nacks outta this shit cuz its so much fun and so easy to use... i burned these a bit learning how long to keep em in the oven, but overall i'm pretty happy the way they turned out as it's my first time sculpting with sculpey.. I also made a kickass pumpkin but i gave that to my sister and its not in the pic... but these are the playing pieces that are in the little world i created for the game... The black cat is Jinx, she inspired her own playing piece in the game...lol... Jinx and the cats eye pieces were gonna be an "expansion pack", but i decided to make it a part of the master set, which i will have the only super-deluxe playable version of that i'll be playtesting with my friends in the coming weeks as i finish the rest of the pieces... will keep ya posted as i get more done....

I love UDO

Been awhile since i posted, so here is a little treat... Came across this pic today and i had a flashback of a video me and my cousin Mark used to watch as kids, and freeze frame this face, on VHS cuz it cracked us up, and VHS was a new technology back then and we were having fun with it... lol... This was from Accepts classic Midnight Mover video, and it is a classic, as is Udo... Accept has reunited this year, but without Udo, but they have a decent singer in Mark Tornillo from TT Quick, so all is not lost... just love that Udo face and this lil dog... so similar, and adorable...lol

More Heroscape

Here is another pic with another phantom warrior and a bronze dragon in the background.... The laser effect is pretty cool too... In the future i'll put together some cool scenes utilizing the board pieces too, and some of my other sets, ike the Marvel one with the Hulk, Iron man, Spiderman, and a host of others... It's really a cool game system worth checkin out if you're into D&D and roleplaying games... and it's really dumbed down and easy to learn and play for the more "casual" crowd too, so don't let the RPG D&D thing scare you away... it's alot of fun and simple rules so even if you have younger kids they'll be able to grasp it... Now that i'm officially pissed off at Microsoft and Xboxlive, i'll be amusing myself with my other hobbies like stuff like this...lol...

I love Heroscape

Microsoft tech support is a joke

No pics this post, but be sure to scroll down and click on see older posts if you havent, cuz i have ALOT of pics of my art and toys and stuff... and also be sure to click on the pics to see hi res versions of the pics, cuz i took them with a hi res Nikon and the detail in some the toy pics is crazy... anyways, had a bad couple of days dealing with Microsoft after my account was suspended from a line i posted in my bio from an In Flames song that had the word "sxxt" in iy, and thats how i posted it... 2 fuckin years ago... and somehow that got me suspended for 3 days... so after numerous calls to tech support who cant do anything... literally, these people are as clueless and helpless and unaware of their products or services as a stranger off the street... As long as i was on the [phone for the second day trying to plead my case, i tried getting a problem resolved from last year when they ran a promotion where if you purchased 4 xboxlive titles, at the end of the promotion you were supposed to get a refund of 400 points, which is like 5 bucks... well i never got the points and its on record that i bought the games in the dates required... well this Indian woman that can barely speak English, had no clue of the details of anything.. no idea of the promotion, when it ran, what it was... NOTHING... she spent literally half an hour asking me when the dates were, when it ran, what it was called, you have no idea the cluelessness here... i just gave up... not even sure if i'm gonna pursue this further, its only 5 bucks and its really not worth it to deal with morons like this for 5 bucks... anyways, my suspension ran out, i'm back on, cuz i'm a loser and a sucker and i have too much money invested in my xbox and this damned service, but rest assured, any surveys or anytime i'm required to evaluate microsoft or the xboxlive services customer support, i will be relentless in how badly i bash the shit out of them for their incompetence and lack of any knowledge or intelligence on their products... also in the way they treat a longstanding, extremely valuable customer in the money i spend on there too... i'm also gonna be writing some complaint letters to anyone i can think of to stir up shit and make people see what a haphazard joke they are running over there with their live service... oh this is only the beginning...lol.. but anyways, scroll down and be sure to look at older posts and hope you enjoy all the stuff i have on here... enjoy...

Gnomes are creepy

This was supposed to be the travelocity gnome, but i wanted to stretch out the proportions and distort it so that it covered the whole front of the shirt and it wound up lookin like just a creepy gnome...lol... I love gnomes, i guess cuz of the fact they're so damn creepy...lol... anyways, again, if you guys want anything on a shirt with a sharpie, you know what to do... leave it in the comments and i'll get back to ya...

Made this one today for my fiance Anne, of our cat Jinx, we call her Jinkers, you see her on here all the time, sweetest little cat in the world, and the most clumsy and cursed... So the name fits her perfectly...lol

Adios to fake friends on facebook

No new art or neat toy pics this time, sorry, just takin a little time to vent some stupid shit that crept up my ass in the past months and pissed me off... In the process of deleting a bunch of people off my facebook friends list that i don't even know how they got there, and if by some weird chance you've found your way here to this blog, then you'll know why... Just awhile ago i was alerted by some people that all of my co-workers at my last job at GI apparel that i was at for like 16 years and considered everyone my friend, well i was told that no one there was my friend and everyone was pissed that i even had a job there and wanted me fired... nice way to remember your fond years there... well anyways, thanx for the memories and if you were on my friends list before and arent now, heres why, and have a nice life...

Vampirella shirt

Here is my latest shirt, probly my worst yet, and i have drawn so many vampirellas and this one came out fucked up... i guess its ok, but i know so many things i would erase and fix, but the hardest part about these things is that its with a sharpie, and once you put pen to shirt thats it, you have to be perfect first shot, so with that in mind it's not too bad i guess... but it is a one of a kind Vampi shirt, so i'll wear it and like it...lol

dead-I logo

Here is the logo i did for the side project i named dead-I creations, a division of FCKindustries... both of which are little BS phantom companies that exist solely in my little head...lol... I just love creating cool logos, so i had to do one for this, my little side project of drawing custom shirts, one of a kind pieces of art on t-shirt, whatever the customer wants, any color shirt, with a black sharpie marker...lol... I'm like a Bob Ross or Bill Alexander, but the t-shirt is my canvas, and a sharpie is my brush...lol... anyways, no requests yet, still waiting for some, in the meantime i'm just makin these for myself and my friends... like i said, i may do a vampirella one next, who knows, but hope you guys like these new pics, most posts i've done on this blog in awhile...lol.. nice to be back makin more posts...

Lobo shirt, new pic

Here is that Lobo shirt from a few posts ago, better pic i took myself with the Nikon... looks pretty cool and you can see the shoulder logo i did for the sleeve... I might be doing a vampirella one next for myself, just gotta be inspired and find a cool reference pic... probly from the Frazetta stuff that was done, that dude was friggin amzing.. so sad that he passed away recently.. grew up idolizing him and his work, and it inspired me so much to pursue a career in art...

Spooky Jinx

Here is a pic of our cat Jinx, Jinkers, so many variations we call her, and she responds to all of them... really smart kitteh... Anyways, here she is on her little pentagram rug in our bedroom... Love how her eyes reflect off the floor they are giving off so much light they look spooky...lol... Love the monster, no matter how much trouble she gets into.. and she gets into alot...lol.. so much that we have to lock her in the bathroom when we both go out, and at nite when we go to sleep... lol.. It's a big bathroom tho with her bed in there and toys, and she loves to lounge in the bathtub and the sink, so it's like her own little room, not punishment at all...lol...

Enterprise TV show model

Been slackin on makin posts here, but like i said before, i make daily posts without pics on my Xboxliveafterdark blog,so just check there regularly and i link this blog to it from there also... Here is a model i just did last weekend of the enterprise from the show Enterpise, which was a great show for like 2 seasons then it went to hell and got cancelled... anyways, always loved the design of this ship, and i actually took the time to use paint on some of the parts as you can see... the focus point was off on this shot, it blurred the saucer but made the nacelle pods sharp, which i didnt mind cuz thats where i actually took most of my time when painting and detailing it... lol... came out pretty sweet tho... be back soon and again, if anyone wants all over art on a t-shirt done by hand, just leave comments here and i'll get back to you...

Hand drawn shirts

Been awhile since i've been here, sorry bout that again, but i update my xboxlive after dark daily, and i always link to this one so keep checkin back here, always chances for new pics and stuff... Like now... the other day i woke up at like 5am, my usual pain alarm clock goes off and i cant sleep cuz of the pain, so i got up, took some of my meds and for some reason was inspired to draw one of my favorite characters, Lobo, with a sharpie, freehand on a t-shirt...lol... i know, i'm weird, but here is a pic of it my friend took with his phone, maybe i'll take a better one cuz this one kinda had a weird fold on the side of of it and you miss some of the detail, but it came out pretty cool... I'm gonna offer to make shirts like this, one of a kind, with sharpies and signed, so they are original pieces of art, done on the spot, no pencilling, just ink to shirt, all you gotta do is give me a comic or good reference pic and i'll do it... just leave me a note in the comments and i'll get back to you.. 1 color of course on your choice of color shirt... i'm gonna do another one for myself too, just have to get my old easel and drawing board from my dads house, cuz i did this one on the floor, and then it took me half an hour to be able to get up off the floor... lol...

Anne and I

Here is a pic of my fiance and myself, on the eve her birthday before we went out with a bunch of our friends to Houlihans to celebrate her birthday.... A great time was had by all and our waitress gave us this huge dessert for Annes birthday, on her... Which was a really nice gesture on her part cuz it was an actual huge dessert off their menu, not just a little cupcake or something... the thing was gigantic and decadent and she even gave us 6 spoons since it was so humongous... lol.. So here's a plug for Houlihans's... we love the place, it's nice and dark, and lookin like me, you can understand why i like to eat dinner in dark places... more out of concern for everyone else who has to look at me while they try to maintain their appetite and hold down their food... I'm hideous... oh fuckin well, Nikon must make a hell of a camera lens since the thing still works after capturing this horrifying pic of my mug... eeefuckingads i'm scary... gonna go cry myself to sleep now....lol

Jinkers and the Nano bugs

Here is our little basement kitteh Jinkers... Transfixed by one of my newest little obsessions... Nanos... These little nanobugs are like little cockroaches... they're these little robotic bugs that skitter around like roaches and interact with each other as they vibrate around the environment... I say that because thats they're source of locomotion... Vibration... it's F'en scince kids, nano robots, pay attention...lol.. Anyways, she loves them, as do i... lol... I'm up to like 14 now in my collection i think last time i counted...lol.. But i stopped buying them cuz i have a full color spectrum and i ran out of space in my nanobug carrying case that holds all the bugs in their little test tubes and the habitat and its pieces, which you see here... It's really a cool little hobby, you guys should look into buying these things, especially if you kids.... or cats....lol

Seaview

Been awhile since my last pic or post here, sorry about that, but i've been posting regularly on my other blog, XBOXlive after dark, and i link here from there, so hopefully everyone will migrate here and vice versa... Here is a little model i built recently from a TV show i used to watch as a kid and loved, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea... Was the adventures of the crew of this cool submarine, which had this really cool other little sub inside of it called the "Flying Sub", and that was like the special highlight of each episode, when or for what reason they would launch the flying sub, cuz it was a cool special effect for its time...lol...

Sketch revise

Was playing around with this sketch... every time i look at it i see things wrong and things i should change... and then there are times when it looks fine... so i'm not sure if it REALLY sux or if its just my OCDs...lol.. well here is a new modified version, with a little color thrown in for good measure... I would really love comments or critiques from everyone, good and i especially love the bad ones, so i know what i'm doin wrong and try to improve for later drawings... and i can see that i still have visitors here... so comment away and have fun...

Hey all, been awhile, posting regularly on my xboxlive afterdark blog, and i link to this blog from there anyways... but been real busy with alot of nothing actually, but it seems to eat up all my free time...lol.. did squeeze in the time to get inspired enough to draw something for fun for myself, this pic of G4 hostess Olivia Munn.. saw the pic online and loved the shadows and contrasts and wanted to do it in a real rough sketchy style as opposed to the usual clean tight way i sually sketch, and it came out kinda clean and tight, oh well...lol... anyways, hope ya's like it, and i sent it off to the olivia mun fan site, see if i hear anything back... peace out...

There is a pic and joke on the internet that i discovered along time ago and loved... still love it and the joke is timeless... thats why i keep running it into the ground...lol.. it was also my first exposure to the wonderful little creature known as Domokun... He's the brown monster with the mouthful of teeth... If you look him up on the internet you'll discover lots of fun sites and the show he is on in Japan... He's kind of like the Japanese version of Gumby...lol.. Anyways, here is my pic and newest take on the premise of the joke... Maxx

My new Maxx figure... Loved this comic back in the day, was so friggin weird and the art style was awesome... and this thing is like 3 pounds of solid plastic... lol.. Dreading this weekend cuz i have to go to the wake of a friend who was killed last week in a motorcycle accident... so sad, still in a kinda shock that its not real... and on top of that i have to go struggling with health problems and the prospect of seeing fake asshole motherfuckers i used to work with who i thought were my friends, but behind my back, wanted to see me fired... people are fuckin lovely, so i'll just walk away from them and leave... i'm just a ball of sunshine ain't i?... since i can't say it there out of respect for my friend... eat shit douchebags, you know who you are, and if you try to be fake and say hi and be friendly, you'll definitely know...lol

New Hellboy

Back again, recently made a few really cool toy purchases, this one among them... Hellboy animated style... I love this version, and i picked it up at Kevin Smith's comic shop the Secret Stash in Red Bank, NJ... very cool place... I also picked up a Maxx action figure, which is REALLY hard to come by, a Hal Jordan green lantern, Wonder Woman, and A very cool Thor... took some photos tonight of the others but they didnt really come out that good, so gonna scrap em and try again tomorrow when i feel like bustin out the Nikon again... too late now, tired...lol.. Fuckin idiots

Hey all, back again, been slacking.... but been busy writing on my other blog regularly on xboxlive gaming, so i am alive on the internet in some capacity...lol... don't have any cool or funny pics this time, just wanted to stop in and touch base, vent off a little steam from the bullshit thats been in the entertainment news lately... what is with all these people cheating in hollywood?... first Tiger singlehandedly bangs the free world, now we have this Jesse James dude cheating on Sandra Bullock with an "alleged" nazi... again, everything i write here is just my own opinion, all these are very wonderful people... lol... First off, anyone who cheats on a loved one is an asshole.. period... thats just it... never cheated, but been cheated on, and it really sucks... So Jesse James... i won't even get on the rant, i'll just say he's an idiot starting off with naming yourself Jesse James... Unless you're the singer in Jackyl, and then you're a very special chainsaw weilding drunk idiot...lol... again, i'm just having fun here folks, nothing to see here tonight... just move along....lol

Iron Man 3

Hey all, I'm back... Been awhile, usual shit caught up in... medical, you name it, just lose track of everything and i hardly post anymore... This post is for my friend Justin... Today we both saw the Iron Man 2 trailer, and it was amazing, you gotta check it out... Then we got into a discussion if the Helmet would fit on an adult, and he insisted it would'nt... I insisted that it did... I already picked up the arc-light and some of the new figures last week cuz i collect stupid shit like this, and i saw the helmet, hence i had a feeling i could jam it on my head.. So after I got off the phone with him, I made a Walmart run, since we have one right behind our apt. complex, and sure enough, they had one.. one was a sign from Baby Jeebus, and omen, so i had to buy it, it was meant for ME... Got it home, assembled it, and with a slight modification, that is i took out the adjustable head strap in it.. It fits!... As you can see in the pic... Thats why I'm posting this as proof, Justin wanted a pic... here ya go buddy... I win!!... And im the proud owner of a wonderful Iron Man helmet... Thing is quite awesome... Eyes light up, it closes slow, like those old 80's cassette decks...lol.. cool sound effects too... and the arc-light is cool as hell too... thats the heart tony stark has in chest that powers the armor.. lights up and makes cool ass sounds too... So now i'm gonna go and call the hospital and see if they can send paramedics over to see if they can cut it off my head... I keed, I keed, got it off just fine, and might even wear it tonight while i'm playing call of duty online...lol... Catch ya later kiddies, i'll try to post more regularly, i promise.....

Been away

Hey all, whoever reads this, i hope i have a few people that are mildy entertained by my stupid shit and ramblings... will try to get back to regular posting and pics... was just pre-occupied with the usual shit, medical shit, trying to find work, Xbox, and a new pre-occupation which sidetracked me from my xbox, an i-pod touch that Anne got me for x-mas.. the little thing is awesome and a great little gaming platform... i never would have thought the games on this thing would be so good and addictive... i don't even use it for playing music, cuz i-tunes in my opinion is horrible and the i-tunes music store is ridiculous with their pricing and ownership rights... total bullshit... so for music Anne and i both have little 4 gig Sansa players, which are awesome... little oled screens and just drag and drop mp3 files... but for music on the i-pod touch, we just use pandora and hook it up to external speakers and it sounds great... Pandora is awesome... for the kind of music we like, they have everything and even turn us onto new european bands we otherwise never would have heard of.. Considering the state of music here in the U.S.... which is an outright ABOMINATION and a joke.... European stuff saves us from the horrors of the music scene in this country... I won't even start on the horrors i hear on the radio when i happen to turn it on by accident when i'm in the car, but just a few seconds of lady ga-ga or ke$ha will make your ears bleed... i can't even believe that shit is for real and not some kind of sick joke, just to see what people will buy into and listen to... but fuck... just dreadful.. anyways, hope to be posting more regularly again, and will have more goofy pics and shit to post soon...
